ABOUT US

Tender Leaf – Centre for Child Protection, Rights and Responsibilities’ was established in the year 2019. It is initiated with the objective of availing a helping hand to the children in need of care and protection especially to the children belonging to the marginalized and vulnerable communities irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. The organization was registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. (Reg No. KKD/CA/86/2019) The management and administration of the organization is done by a group of professional social workers which constitute its governing body. The registered office of ‘Tender Leaf – Centre for Child Protection, Rights and Responsibilities’ is at Kattippara Village, Kozhikode district, Kerala State. The administrative office of ‘Tender Leaf – Centre for Child Protection, Rights and Responsibilities’ is working at K V Complex, Adivaram, Kozhikode district, Kerala State..

Mission

Assisting the children through development programs and initiatives to achieve development in all phases of the lives of children through value incorporation and supportive services

Objectives

1. To promote and undertake child welfare, development and care and protection program.

2. To undertake educational and cultural activities for the development of children, Adolescents and youth.

3. To undertake natural resource management, environment protection program and to protect and promote indigenous culture and traditions.

4. To provide medical assistance , care to the needy , psychological support and counseling services.

5. To advocate for the rights of children, adolescent, youth, women, elderly, tribes, victims of human right violation and disaster.

6. To undertake community based disaster preparedness and management programs and to provide immediate relief, rescue and rehabilitation.

7. To promote micro credit programs and to promote livelihood & entrepreneurship programs.

8. To organize regional, national and international conferences, workshops, symposiums, seminars with the partnership of government and private development aid agencies for the benefit of target groups.

9. To provide trainings , capacity building programs and publish books, Information, Education, Communication (IEC) materials and other relevant documents and to undertake research.

10. To provide legal aid for the disadvantaged (marginalized) group.

11. To undertake rural, tribal, coastal and urban development programs.

12. To promote and practice communal harmony and national integration.
